Hi, I’m Avantika Awasthi, the heart and mind behind Adornments. My journey began in August 2023 when I embarked on a quest to transform how women experience jewelry. Balancing a demanding corporate job alongside my research, I delved deep into the world of craftsmanship and materials, learning from artisans and dermatologists and listening to women share their stories and struggles with jewelry.
Inspired by my father’s unwavering belief in me and fueled by the desire to break the stereotype of being a "pampered child," I decided to carve my own path. I left the comfort of my home, traveling across India to understand the intricate world of jewelry and the pain points women face. From irritation caused by certain metals to the impracticality of delicate gold pieces, I realized the need for something that combined luxury, durability, and affordability.
With a vision to create jewelry that empowers women and fits into their dynamic lives, Adornments was born. It’s more than a brand; it’s my story, my passion, and my promise to women everywhere—to adorn their lives with elegance and ease.
